Palco USD 269 is currently hiring for the position of Board Clerk. This is a non-exempt, full time position. Experience with school accounting and human resources is preferred but training is available for the right applicant. Applicants should be able to be bonded by the district, have high ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters. A full job description is available upon request. 🏋️‍♂️ Summer Weights Information

Summer weights will begin June 1st and run Monday–Thursday through July 30th.

High School: 6:30–7:45 AM
Junior High: 8:00–9:00 AM

There will be no weights during the summer moratorium week: June 29th–July 5th

USD 269 and the NW KS AG Education Center wants to thank all of the projects that the students finished at the end of the school year! This last week, they added a new sign at the front of the building (The Printing on the sign will come later), the poultry barn is finished, and various large and small projects were completed! (See pictures). Thank you for a great year!

We can't wait for next year! We look forward to giving you updates throughout the summer on our many projects (Large Greenhouse, outdoor classroom, mechanic's shop, orchard, drone program, and various animal pens that we will add for next year!). Thanks!

USD 269 is pleased to announce our new K-12 Principal for the 2026-2027 school year: Mr. Dallas Meneley!

Mr. Meneley comes to our district from Abilene, where he has been a teacher, school counselor, and principal.

Mr. Meneley got a chance to meet with staff and students at Damar Elementary School, Palco Jr-Sr. High School, and the NW KS AG Education Center this week! Please help us welcome Mr. Meneley to NW KS! Thanks!

DES had a field day this week. Students showed their athletic skills and had a blast competing!! Thank you Ms. Lamatsch for organizing this and to all the help from teachers and students!!
