Public Hearing Notice

The City of Palestine City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall, 504 N. Queen Street, during the Regular City Council Meeting.

Public input will be received regarding the following:

1. Specific Use Permit
A request for a Specific Use Permit for the proposed placement of transitional housing at 1812 E. Murchison, East Loop Industrial Park, Block C, Lot 4.

2. Proposed Manufactured Home Overlay
Consideration of an amendment to Chapter 39, Section 39.2.1-2, Zoning Map, to add a Manufactured Home Overlay within a designated area of the City.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide input on these matters.
