🏌️Get ready to hit the links for the 2026 Palm Bay Recreation Fall Golf Classic, presented by Storm Busters, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at The Habitat Golf Course. ⛳

Proceeds from the Golf Classic directly help support Palm Bay Recreation community events and programs, helping us continue to provide fun, fitness, friendship, and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. Feeling generous? Sponsorships help stretch that support even further, with hole sponsorships starting at $100!

Early registration is $80 per individual or $300 per foursome when paid before October 3. Registration paid on October 3 is $90 per individual or $340 per foursome.

Space is limited, so gather your team and register early at playonline.palmbayfl.gov.

🏀 Temporary Basketball Court Closure

The basketball courts at Lynne Manion Nungesser Park, 1161 Lamplighter Drive NW, will be closed beginning September 1 for resurfacing. The courts are expected to reopen September 11, weather and conditions permitting.

Make a splash this Labor Day! 💦

The Palm Bay Aquatic Center will be open Monday, September 7, for lap swim from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and open swim from noon to 4 p.m. The splash pad and slide will be available during open swim.

📢 Tony Rosa Open Gym Schedule Update

Please note a temporary change to the gymnasium schedule at the Tony Rosa Community Center, 1502 Port Malabar Blvd. NE, Palm Bay. The gym will no longer be open Thursday morning for pickleball and will be closed for the remainder of the week as we prepare for the Mayor’s Cup Boxing Invitational this Saturday, August 29.

Regular open gym hours will resume next week. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to see you at the Mayor’s Cup Boxing Invitational!

🏓 Pickleball Schedule Update at Tony Rosa Community Center

Just for tomorrow, Tuesday, August 18, open pickleball will begin at 10 a.m. instead of the usual 9 a.m. start time.

Regular hours will resume on Thursday, August 20, with pickleball opening at 9 a.m.

Looking for a fun and relaxing way to spend your Sunday morning? Join one of our experienced Park Rangers this Sunday at 10 AM for a FREE guided tour through the Turkey Creek Sanctuary! Stroll along the boardwalk and scenic trails while discovering the incredible wildlife, native plants, and hidden wonders that make this special place one of Palm Bay's natural treasures. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a longtime nature lover, there's always something new to see and learn.

The tour begins promptly at 10:00 AM at the Nature Center and is perfect for all ages. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot by calling the Nature Center at (321) 676-6690. Guided tours are offered on the first and third Sunday of each month, weather permitting and excluding holidays.
