Yesterday, Project Homeless Connect was held in Boca Raton for the first time, bringing vital resources directly to individuals and families in South Palm Beach County. From housing assistance and healthcare to employment support, food, clothing, pet supplies, and more, the event connected neighbors in need with the services that can help change lives.
CEO, Alexandria Ayala, shared with WPTV how we're seeing more people experiencing homelessness for the first time, including individuals who are working but still struggling to afford housing. The face of homelessness is changing, and our community must continue working together to meet people where they are.
Thank you to our partners, volunteers, service providers, and community leaders who helped make this event possible. Together, we are creating pathways to stability, dignity, andhope.
The twice-yearly event, usually held in West Palm Beach, connected unhoused residents with food, clothing, health care, career services and more at St. Gregory's Episcopal Church.
