🎩 Gentlemen’s Academy – Session 3: Building Confidence

This week at Howell L. Watkins Middle School, our young men participated in the third session of our Gentlemen’s Academy, focusing on one of the most important traits for leadership and personal growth — confidence.

Students learned that confidence is not something you are simply born with, but a skill that grows through effort, learning from mistakes, and continuing to try even when things feel uncomfortable. Through discussion and real-life scenarios, our young men explored how confident leaders respond to challenges such as peer pressure, failure, and disrespect.

A special thank you to our mentors and community partners from the Riviera Masonic Lodge and the Boys & Girls Club for taking the time to speak with our students and share their wisdom and experiences.

Mentorship and community partnerships like these help us continue building strong young men who are learning to lead with character, confidence, and responsibility.
