🎂☕ Who doesn’t love cake and coffee? ☕🎂

One of the new traditions we’re excited to start this year at Hidden Oaks Middle School is celebrating our amazing Shark faculty and staff birthdays each month with cake and coffee!

Today, even though we’re a day early, we gathered to celebrate our September Sharks as they mark another trip around the sun. 🎉🥳

We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, passion, and care our staff bring to our students and school community every single day. Taking a few moments to celebrate and appreciate the people who make Hidden Oaks such a special place is something we truly value.

🦈 What an Incredible Curriculum Night at Hidden Oaks Middle School! 🦈

Tonight, our annual Curriculum Night was a tremendous success, and we could not be more grateful for the incredible turnout from our Shark community!

It was wonderful to see so many families on campus, learning about the outstanding teachers who inspire, challenge, and support our amazing students every day. Events like Curriculum Night strengthen the partnership between home and school, helping us work together to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

A special thank you to:
⭐ Our families for taking the time to attend and engage with our staff.
⭐ Our student volunteers who stayed to help throughout the evening.
⭐ Our dedicated teachers who welcomed families into their classrooms and shared their curriculum, expectations, and passion for teaching.

The energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to student success were evident throughout the night. We hope everyone had a great experience, made meaningful connections, and left feeling excited about the year ahead.

We are less than one week away from our Hidden Oaks Middle School Lady Sharks Volleyball Team returning to the court, and we could not be more excited to cheer them on this season!

Please take a look at the schedule below and join us in supporting our student-athletes as they represent Hidden Oaks with pride, determination, and teamwork.

📣 Important Note: Some game locations may change depending on the completion of the HOMS gymnasium renovation project. We will communicate any schedule or location updates as soon as they become available.

💙🦈 Thank You, Hidden Oaks Volunteers! 🦈💙

At Hidden Oaks Middle School, we know that great schools are built through strong partnerships, and we are incredibly grateful for the amazing support of our parent volunteers!

A special thank you goes out to the volunteers who have been helping sell and distribute PE uniforms this week. When our PE Department requested 15 volunteer slots, every single time slot was filled! That level of commitment and support speaks volumes about our incredible Shark community.

Your willingness to give your time helps our students start each day prepared and allows our staff to focus on providing the best possible educational experience. We truly could not do it without you.

Thank you for showing what makes Hidden Oaks so special.

📚🦈 Hidden Oaks Sharks Are Ready to Plan for Success! 🦈📚

Attention Hidden Oaks Families!

Our MCSD student agendas have arrived and were distributed to students on August 25th during their Period 1 class. Please check with your student to make sure they received their agenda. If they did not receive one, please have them ask their Period 1 teacher tomorrow morning, August 27th.

At Hidden Oaks, we know that organization is one of the keys to academic success! Students will be expected to use their planners throughout the school year to record:

✅ Daily homework assignments
✅ Upcoming tests and quizzes
✅ Project due dates and important deadlines

In addition, every Friday, students will record their current grades for each class in their planner. This will create an excellent opportunity for meaningful conversations at home about progress, goals, and celebrations.

We encourage all families to make reviewing the planner a regular part of their weekly routine. Together, we can help our Sharks develop the habits and skills that lead to success in middle school and beyond!
