Big Brother Jason and Little Brother Nick have been matched for more than 6 years, building a bond through mentorship, memorable experiences, and their shared love for the San Francisco 49ers. ❤️💛

When they first met, neither knew they were both lifelong 49ers fans. Since then, football Sundays have become a tradition, cheering on their favorite team together season after season.

One of their most unforgettable memories came when Jason surprised Nick with tickets to his very first NFL game, giving him the opportunity to see the 49ers play in person. 🏟️✨

Their time together didn't stop there. After many football games, they would head to the driving range, where Jason taught Nick how to play golf, creating even more opportunities to learn, grow, and connect. ⛳

Today, Nick is graduating from Indio High School! 🎓

This fall, he will begin an exciting new chapter at Chico State University. 🌟

Congratulations, Nick! We are so proud of all you've accomplished and grateful for mentors like Jason who help create experiences and opportunities that last a lifetime.

⛳️ What a fantastic day on the course for a great cause! 💙

72 golfers gathered at the beautiful Classic Club for our annual Summer Sizzle Golf Tournament, enjoying a morning of friendly competition, community connection, and support for local youth.

Golfers fueled up with delicious breakfast burritos from Pueblo Viejo Mexican Grill before teeing off for a fun-filled round of golf under the desert sun. ☀️🏌️‍♂️

💙 A mentorship match that proves distance can't break a meaningful connection.

Big Brother Hank and Little Brother Kordell have shared an incredible friendship for more than 8 years. Even after Kordell moved away, they continued making time for each other, proving that mentorship is about commitment, trust, and showing up through every stage of life. ✨

Their bond has been built through countless shared experiences, lessons, and memories. In fact, Hank even adopted Kordell's beloved dog, giving them one more special connection whenever they reunite. 🐾

Kordell's mom credits Hank with teaching him important life skills, including how to cook and clean up after himself, lessons that continue to serve him every day. 🍳

Reflecting on their journey together, Hank shared:

"When your Little tells you they're proud of you, and you're their mentor, it makes every minute spent together special - more than we realize."

Today, Kordell is graduating from Patriot High School! 🎓 He plans to attend a vocational trade school and pursue a career as an auto mechanic. 🚗🔧

💙 A friendship built on connection, new experiences, and shared memories.

For the past 2 years, Big Sister Gabriela and Little Sister Valerie have enjoyed exploring the community together, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and participating in Big Brothers Big Sisters events. ✨

Through every outing and conversation, they’ve built a meaningful bond that continues to grow stronger.

Today, Valerie is graduating from La Quinta High School! 🎓

This fall, she will begin an exciting new chapter at CSUSB Palm Desert, where she plans to study Psychology and pursue her passion for understanding and helping others. 🌟

We are so proud of everything Valerie has accomplished and grateful for mentors like Gabriela who help young people feel supported, encouraged, and confident as they pursue their goals.

💙 More than a mentor. More than a match. Family.

Big Sister Suzy and Little Sister Fatima are our longest graduating match this year, having shared an incredible journey together for more than 9 years. ✨

When they were first matched, Fatima was just 9 years old. Suzy remembers holding her hand as they explored new places together. Today, it’s Fatima who reaches for Suzy’s hand, a simple gesture that reflects the deep bond they’ve built over the years. 🤝

One of their first outings was to Sunnylands Center & Gardens, where Fatima participated in an art class and gifted her drawings to Suzy. Those drawings remain framed and proudly displayed in Suzy’s home to this day. 🎨💙

Together they’ve shared countless memories through Big Brothers Big Sisters events, holiday celebrations, and everyday moments that strengthened their connection.

Fatima says one of the most meaningful lessons she learned through the program is that family isn't always defined by blood. She considers Suzy part of her family, and that may be the greatest testament to the power of mentorship. ❤️

Today, Fatima is graduating from Palm Desert High School! 🎓 She plans to attend College of the Desert and pursue her dream of becoming a Psychiatric Ward Nurse. 👩‍⚕️

Both Suzy and Fatima say their lives have been enriched by this experience, and while this chapter is ending, their friendship is not. They promise to stay connected for years to come. 🌟

Big Sister Miranda and Little Sister Jizelle have been matched for 5 years, creating memories and sharing adventures that have helped shape Jizelle's journey. ✨

From cheering on the Firebirds at hockey games 🏒 to attending our Breakfast at Macy's holiday shopping event 🎁 and joining many Big Brothers Big Sisters activities throughout the years, these two have built a meaningful and lasting connection.

Through every experience, Miranda has been a source of encouragement, support, and friendship, helping Jizelle grow in confidence as she prepares for her next chapter.

Today, Jizelle is graduating from Coachella Valley High School! 🎓

This fall, she will begin classes at College of the Desert, completing her prerequisites before transferring to a university to pursue a degree in Engineering. ⚙️🌟
