Thank you to our new Area 3 Assistant Governor Diane Sharp for visiting our meeting this past Thursday. She had the chance to see the results of our club's satisfaction survey for the 25-26 Rotary year. We look forward to her leadership and guidance. Congratulations to Pam Dane as her Rotary Presidential year comes to a close. She did an outstanding job as the 25-26 Club President. Here are some highlights from our end of year dinner. Thank you for all of your hard work Pam. Your club and the community appreciates you!

Each recipient had a donation made in their name to either CART or Polio Plus through our charitable Trust.

A giant thank you to all of the club members who made this year a successful year with a variety of projects that helped serve community members and helped local charities.

We’d also like to thank all the people/ businesses who sponsored our Cruisin’ the Park car show this past April. 100% of the money raised through sponsorships will be going to help local charities in our community.

I thought I'd share this email from our "Best in show" winner Dan Gaye from this year's car show.

I thought it might be interesting to get a little of the history of the 1966 convertible Chevrolet Impala. It was built at the Flint Michigan plant ordered with 396 325hp TH400 with Air Co, power brakes, power windows, automatic cruise control by an executive of Chevrolet as a program car for 2 years than sold at a used lot with full protect-o-plate warranty to my family in March of 1968. We used this as our family daily driver even through the brutal winters of Detroit, Chicago then Rochester NY. Eventually it was transported to Tampa in 2018 working on it myself to bring it to the condition it’s in today keeping everything stock.

I enjoy going to car shows to talk with the other enthusiasts but most of all I enjoy driving almost weekly to bring back the memories attached to this particular car with my family.

Serving the youth in our community during “youth service” month.

A HUGE thank you to East Lake Sunrise Rotary for all they donated to the Teen Comfort Locker! The Comfort Locker is a collection of donated hygiene items that are free to teens in need. Located in the Teen Room, items from dental to menstrual are available for easy access. Thank you so much East Lake Sunrise Rotary for caring for our community!

Congrats to our FIRST Team 79 Krunch Robotics / Interact Club of Krunch Robotics scholarship winners and to the club as a whole. They were the recipients of car show grants, scholarship opportunities and helped provide others with a great day at the car show and showing us what one of their robots can do during a teeshirt launching session. Congratulations to Alex, Doni and Anna as our scholarship recipients!
