🌴🍔 Big news for Sunrise Park and the Mizell neighborhood!

We’re excited to welcome the new Wanderlust Food Truck Festival to the parking lot adjacent to Sunrise Park at Mizell beginning June 20. Saturday nights this summer will feature great food, community vibes, and plenty of energy right here in Palm Springs.

From tacos and BBQ to sweet treats and international flavors, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We love seeing new events and experiences bring people together in our shared community space.

The secret is officially out and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the newest Wanderlust Food Truck Festival location… PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA ☀️

Starting Saturday, June 20th, join us every Saturday evening from 6PM–11PM at beautiful Sunrise Park for a rotating lineup of incredible food trucks serving everything from tacos and BBQ to desserts, lemonade, international flavors, and more.

Wanderlust Food Truck Festival is all about bringing communities together through great food, great atmosphere, and memorable experiences for all ages.

Palm Springs has always been iconic, vibrant, and full of energy—and we can’t wait to bring Wanderlust to the desert.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of longtime Mizell member Joan Martin, who was truly part of the heart of our community.

Many mornings each week, you could find Joan in one of our exercise and movement classes, bringing warmth, kindness, and a familiar smile that staff, volunteers, and fellow members came to know and love. She was a fixture at Mizell, and her presence will be deeply missed.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Joan’s family and friends, and we are grateful for the time and community we shared with her.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are especially grateful for the many veterans who are part of the Mizell community and who continue to inspire us every day. 🇺🇸

Mizell will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of the holiday, and there will be no lunch service. We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

REMINDER 🖐️HOLIDAY HOURS ALERT

Mizell will observe the Memorial Day holiday beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 22 and reopen Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00 a.m. There will be no lunch service Monday, May 25.

Some tenant programs will take place over the weekend; please check with your group coordinator for more information.
