8th Annual Desert Garden Tour, Sunday, April 14, 2013


The Desert Horticultural Society of the Coachella Valley (DHSCV) is sponsoring their 8th Annual Desert Garden Tour in Palm Springs on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 1-4 PM. Online registration is recommended: deserthorticulturalsociety.org. Onsite registration for the tour will be available from 1 – 3 PM at the Wellness Park on the corner of Via Miraleste and Tachevah in Palm Springs. All guests need to check-in at registration to receive a hand stamp and tour map. The self-guided tour is free to DHSCV members, $10 non-members, and $5 students. On site payment must be in cash.

Find inspiration, creativity and color galore during your self-guided walk through six private Palm Springs gardens that showcase beautiful, low-water landscaped designs. Created by the homeowners and design professionals, these gardens offer a lush variety of palms, succulents, agaves, flowering perennials and shrubs enhanced by water features and novel garden art. This is a great family outing on a Sunday afternoon.
