Great to join Marni von Wilpert last night in Palm Springs and hear about her campaign for California’s new 48th Congressional District.

The Human Rights Campaign PAC has endorsed Marni, an out LGBTQ+ leader and San Diego City Councilmember whose priorities include LGBTQ+ equality, reproductive freedom, climate action and human rights.

The new CA-48 will provide congressional representation for the Coachella Valley, making this an important race for our region.

💥 VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY 💥

HRC Palm Springs • Coachella Valley is recruiting a volunteer leader to serve as Digital Engagement Co-Chair on our Steering Committee.

YOU, our ideal candidate, believe equal rights are human rights and have experience in social media, digital content, marketing, communications, graphic design or related work.

As Co-Chair, you’ll help manage our digital presence across Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and other platforms. You’ll create and share content promoting local events, volunteer opportunities, HRC campaigns, endorsed candidates and the work of our Steering Committee.

You’ll also support major events and activations throughout the year and serve on the Garden Party Planning Committee, helping lead digital promotion and communications for our annual fundraiser.

Previous HRC leadership experience isn’t required. We’re looking for someone creative, collaborative and ready to put their communications skills to work for equality.
