The Welwood Murray Memorial Library is a branch of the Palm Springs Public Library. It is open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

except Thursdays, when it is open late until 8:00 p.m.

Today, Wed. October 1st the Welwood Murray Memorial Library will be opening LATE, at 1PM. Feel free to visit the main library which opens at 10AM at Rimrock Plaza or access our resources online at pslibrary.org.

The Welwood Murray Memorial is happy to host an exhibit "Celebrating Pride" presented by the LGBTQ+ History & Archives of the Desert, June 1 - 30, 2025.
The display will showcase items recently added to their permanent collection, things never before exhibited.

See the exhibit in celebration of Pride Month on display at the Welwood Murray Memorial Library in downtown Palm Springs at 100 S. Palm Canyon Drive. The Library is open 7 days a week, everyday from 10AM - 6PM with extended hours on Thursday evenings until 8PM. So mark your calendars now and make sure to go to the Library to see the exhibit.

Today is Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. While the main Library is closed for the holiday, the Welwood Murray Memorial Library is open from 10AM - 6PM.

The Welwood Murray Memorial Library is happy to host a monthly Poetry Club meeting the last Wednesday of each month from 4-5PM. For May we'll be meeting on Wed. 5/28 at 4PM, join us! Led by Donna Fitzgerald, this month’s theme is Blooming! Bring a poem you wrote or a poem you love to share with the group, and paper and a pen for guided writing.
