Due to scheduled track maintenance, Antelope Valley Line trains will not operate between Lancaster and Los Angeles on Saturday, Aug. 15, or Sunday, Aug. 16.

Alternate transportation will not be available. Riders should plan ahead and make other travel arrangements.

What could fewer train-related delays, safer crossings and faster emergency response mean for the way you travel through Palmdale?

Come see what’s planned for the Rancho Vista Grade Separation Project at the intersection of Sierra Highway and Rancho Vista Boulevard, and tell the project team what matters most to you.

The project would place the roadway and railroad tracks at different levels, helping to reduce delays, improve safety, keep traffic moving and support faster emergency response times.

You do not need to be a transportation expert. Bring your questions and your experience traveling through Palmdale.

Big upgrades are headed to Avenue R — and you can get a first look at what’s ahead!
Meet City staff and the project team, explore the plans and get answers to your questions. Learn about:

**HARD ROAD CLOSURE: AVOI**HARD ROAD CLOSURE: AVOI THE AREA**

The Palmdale Sheriff's Station is currently on scene assisting CHP - Antelope Valley with a Fatal Traffic Collision on 25th Street East and Pearblossom Hwy, in the city of Palmdale.

There is a hard road closure from the intersection of 25th Street East & Pearblossom Highway to the intersection of Sierra Highway & Pearblossom Highway.

This stretch of roadway will be closed for an unknown length of time, while this traffic collision can be investigated.

We ask that you find an alternate route until the road can be reopened.
