The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), founded in 1929, is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States of America. Since its founding, LULAC has fought for full access to the political process and works to improve opportunities for Hispanic Americans. ment opportunities, voter registration and education, community mobilization and by providing a much needed voice for the integration and protection of immigrant peoples.
