It’s September 1st and the 26-27 school year for Pathfinder Tech is underway! 💛💙 Today sure was a historic day as we opened the doors to our second campus: PT @ Cold Spring in Belchertown! 🤩 We were overjoyed in welcoming our Hospitality, Health Assisting, Electronics, and CAD/Pre-Engineering sophomores & seniors to this charming, renovated space! Blood, sweat, and tears went into getting this building ready in a VERY short amount of time! Stay tuned for more about the Cold Spring journey & awesomeness in the weeks to come! 😊

The new student orientation & BBQ was amazing!! What a great turnout. What a beautiful evening to welcome all of our new students & families! Special thanks to the admin, teachers, & student ambassadors who joined in to help make this night a memorable start to their PT adventure. 💛💙

Can you believe that school starts in just 2 weeks?! 😶 We are delighted to welcome our new principal Mr. Jay Taylor! Mr. Taylor brings enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and valuable experience from his diverse educational background. Here are a few soundbites from his principal introduction message sent to parents/caregivers earlier this month:

We’re proud to share that Pathfinder Tech is a recipient of the Career Technical Initiative (CTI) Round 11 grant awards!

Through this investment, Pathfinder Tech will help expand access to hands-on career training for adult learners and jobseekers, providing participants with the technical skills and training they need to pursue careers in high-demand industries.

CTI helps Massachusetts vocational technical schools use their expertise, facilities, and employer partnerships to create new pathways for unemployed and underemployed adults to build skills, earn industry-recognized credentials, and connect to career opportunities while helping meet the workforce needs of employers across the Commonwealth.

We’re grateful to the Healey-Driscoll Administration, the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, and Commonwealth Corporation for this investment in our workforce and our community.

We are proud to share that Pathfinder Tech artists SWEPT the Artistic Still High School category in the annual MAMH Mental Health Matters: Student Expression Contest held this spring. Students from middle & high schools across Massachusetts submitted entries via drawings, poems, paintings, and videos focused on mental health challenges & victories – highlighting the experiences of young people across the Commonwealth through reflection & artistic expression. Congratulations to our winners who expressed their artistry & represented PT so well! Special thanks to our art teacher Darlene Henshaw who routinely shares her passions & talents with our students. We are so proud of all of you! 🎨💛💙🎨
