HUZZAH! Saturday, June 20th come celebrate with us! Discover Palmer's exciting and long-forgotten history. In June of 1776, the inhabitants of Palmer unanimously declared their support of independence from Great Britain.
Palmer Historical & Cultural Center:
Hear Ye, Hear Ye: At 11:00AM, bear witness to the bold words of Palmer's founding fathers, read from the steps of the Palmer Historical & Cultural Center!
Palmer Public Library:
Party like it's 1976: From 1:00-3:00PM*, flashback with Palmer's 1976 Bicentennial parade video & photo exhibit. Don't miss the Bicentennial recap at 1:30PM!
Sign the 250th commemorative scroll. View the Revolutionary War museum display and enjoy crafts and cake. Support the Youth Advisory Board at their fundraising table.
*Please note that the library will only be open 1:00-3:00PM for this special event and is typically closed on Saturdays in the summer.
