What an incredible day at the Palmer Police Department Community Outreach 2026! Despite the rain coming down on us throughout the event, the smiles, laughter, conversations, and community spirit never stopped!

From meeting our community members and families, to checking out emergency vehicles, enjoying activities, and spending time with our public-safety partners, the day was all about building relationships, strengthening partnerships, and bringing our community together. 💙

The rain may have soaked the pavement, but it didn’t dampen the Palmer spirit! ☔️➡️💙

We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Shelley Carvalho for her generous effort in raising funds in honor of the late Tracey Johnson. Her compassionate initiative will help us provide better care for the animals at the City of Palmer, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve while awaiting reunification with their owners or adoption into caring families.

The Palmer Police Department is honored to be part of preserving Tracey’s legacy through acts of kindness like this. Together, we are making a meaningful difference in our community and honoring Tracey’s memory.
