Yesterday was an extremely busy day for the department. While assisting Alton Fire Department severe thunderstorms moved through the city. The department responded to over 30 calls for service that came through the city 911 system for both fire and ambulance within a 5 hour span. Thank you City of Palmview administration, public works, and police department for coming to together to serve our great city during this severe weather event.

An Alton tire shop suffered major damage following a fire on Sunday. Read more about what kind of damage was done and how many fire departments responded to assist.

Palmview Fire Department dispatch received a call for Mutual Aid for a major fire this evening in Alto Bonito Starr County. Through collaboration with multiple departments, the structure fire was contained without spreading to other structures. Strong work by all the first responders to keep this complex fire from causing more damage.
