Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, oh my! 🦠

Our Foods students with Ms. Knoche are taking their learning to a whole new dimension! Students researched a food borne pathogen—including Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, Botulism, Shigella, and Campylobacter—and are now creating 3D models to bring their research to life.

Once completed, the models will be on display throughout the semester as visual reminders of the importance of safe food handling, proper cooking, and food storage. 🍎

Hands-on learning that connects the classroom to everyday skills students can use now and carry with them into the future! 🧼🌡️

Science in action! 🌿🔬

Mrs. DeMoss’s 8th grade students are getting outside and exploring how biotic and abiotic factors interact within a habitat! Panthers are observing their surroundings and seeing firsthand how living and nonliving components of an ecosystem work together. 🌱🪨

Learning science by experiencing it up close and personal in nature! ☀️
