117 (South Forge Road) is closed between Mt. Wilson Rd. and Epler Road due to a large tree down.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a Dauphin County highway maintenance crew plans to replace a failing culvert with a 54-inch concrete pipe on Bachmanville Road (Route 2011) in Conewago Township, Dauphin County.

The road will be closed between Route 743 (Elizabethtown Road) and Route 341 (Colebrook Road) near the Dauphin-Lebanon County Line for approximately 24 days from 7:00 AM Tuesday, September 8, until 3:00 PM on Friday, October 2. A detour using Route 743 and Route 341 will be in place.

We have not been given the approved detour for this project.

Statement from Lebanon County:

"North Londonderry Township, South Londonderry Township, Pa. (August 24th, 2026) –
Residential and recreational areas in and around Campbelltown Community Park, Lynmar Avenue, Bridle Avenue, Fox Road, Schoolhouse Road, Palmyra Road, Northside Commons, S Lingle Avenue, Sweetwater Drive, and Rockledge will be sprayed for adult mosquitoes beginning around sunset (7:55 pm) on August 24th. Please keep in mind that the roads listed are for reference and other roads and areas in close proximity may be sprayed as well. We ask that residents please remain inside while the spray is being conducted, though outside activities may resume 30 minutes after the spray. As a common courtesy we turn off the sprayer when passing by people, but this intermission in the application alters the drift of the product which disrupts a steady, even application. This is why we ask residents to avoid being outdoors during the truck spray. The spray will conclude by 10:00 pm.

High populations of adult mosquitoes that vector West Nile Virus to humans have been detected in these areas. Weather conditions and other unexpected events could delay or cancel the spray operation. If these operations are cancelled, they will be rescheduled for August 25th.

Traffic on 322 and Palmyra Rd is horrendous. Plan for alternate routes if possible.

Work should end at 3:00pm per the pole workers PennDOT permit.

Schoolhouse Road is down to one lane between Woodlawn Ave and 322.

The area of the S Forge Road / 322 intersection will be impacted by pole replacement work.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reminds travelers that nighttime detours are scheduled for a resurfacing project on Route 72 (Quentin Road) and Route 322 in North Cornwall and West Cornwall townships, and Cornwall Borough, Lebanon County. The detours will be in place for drainage work on southbound Route 72.

Weather permitting, southbound Route 72 will be closed the night of Thursday, July 30, then the nights of Sunday, August 2, through Thursday, August 6, from the Route 322 East split to Spring Hill Lane which is the entrance to the Spring Hill Acres development. Closures will be in place nightly from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. There will be no closures on Friday and Saturday nights.

A detour will be in place for southbound Route 72 using Route 117, Pinch Road and Cider Press Road. Westbound Route 322 traffic to southbound Route 72 should continue west to Route 117, then use the southbound Route 72 detour.

The work is weather permitting and may be rescheduled due to inclement weather.
