Yesterday afternoon the Palmyra Volunteers and surrounding mutual aid companies were dispatched for a house on fire in the 200Blk of North Chestnut St in the Borough. Crews arrived to fire showing from the second floor of a 2.5 story duplex. The three-person Wagon Company quickly established their own water supply and deployed an attack line, initiating fire attack and primary searches which subsequent arriving companies then assisted with. Thank you to our mutual aid partners for your response and assistance. Photos obtained from the Palmyra FYI Facebook group. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the PSP Fire Marshal.
