The Wall That Heals will be coming to Campbelltown tomorrow! The Wall will be escorted to the township park by motorcade between 12:10 and 12:30. Please prepare for traffic control points on S. Lingle Ave, Northside Dr, Palmyra Rd. Horseshoe Pk. and Lawn Rd. as the motorcade pulls into the Campbelltown Community Park.

Help show your support for the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Flags will be available at the Campbelltown American Legion and the Campbelltown Community Park.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY
For the safety of the participants in the sporting events this weekend at Flightpath Sports, Taxiway Dr will be temporarily posted as a ONE WAY street, heading south from Airport Rd. All traffic leaving Flightpath Sports complex this weekend should use Landings Dr. to North Brandt Rd to exit onto Airport Rd.

We would like to extend our gratitude to RV Value Mart for providing our Officers with wonderful accommodations for the Art Show in Mt. Gretna over the weekend. Their generosity provided our Officers with a place to eat, rest, and take shelter from the heat and rain during extended operations throughout the length of the event.

Just a reminder. Please remember to join us at National Night Out 2026 on Tuesday, August 4th, from 5:30-8:30 at In the Net (798 Airport Rd)! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your Police Officers, Firefighters, Paramedics, local business owners and other community members.

It has been one year since our department said our final goodbyes to K9 Rex. We all miss his loyalty, steadfastness and energetic commitment to his work. We also miss his barking on the radio and head bumps on the arm while we typed reports because he wanted his ears scratched. Rex will always be remembered for his faithful commitment to service.

Rest easy big guy. We have the watch from here.

The South Londonderry Township Police Department is pleased to join with Lodge No. 42, Fraternal Order of Police, along with the National FOP and National Auxiliary, in recognizing July 2026 as the inaugural Law Enforcement Child Month, honoring the children who stand behind the badge. These young family members often share in the sacrifices, challenges, and commitments that come with a career in law enforcement.

Through this initiative, we celebrate their strength, resilience, and important role in our law enforcement community. Law Enforcement Child Month also provides an opportunity to support programs that positively impact the lives of these children.

***Roadway update***
Schoolhouse Rd. between addresses 101 and 157 will be closed until 3pm for utility repairs. Flaggers will be present to allow residents in this area to access their homes. Please plan to take an alternative route if you do not live in the area.

Schoolhouse Rd. will be closed tomorrow (07/09/2026) for a short time while final debris is removed from the roadway.

Stauffers Church Rd. is now OPEN.

Kreider Rd. and E. Patrick Rd. (near S. Forge Rd) remain CLOSED due to the roadway hazards.

***ROADWAY UPDATE***
Palmyra Rd. and Lawn Rd. are open. Utility crews are continuing to work to restore services in the area. Roadways may be closed temporarily in the coming days as these crews complete repairs.

As a reminder, traffic cones and signs have been placed on roadways and at intersections that still pose a hazard. Please do not drive through/over or move these barriers.

Utility crews are actively working to remove downed trees from wires and clear roadways. Our Officers have been checking for hazards and for anyone that may be in need of assistance. We’d like to thank everyone for their patience as clean-up efforts continue!
