Palmyra Area Lions Club

The Palmyra Area Lions Club was on the move recently to visit the hub of the Palmyra Krypton Cougars Robotics Team. What an amazing team of students and their coaches! Their dedication and commitment to building winning robots (from design to completion) since the years of inception has showcased Palmyra on the map. Members of our Lions club were able to learn about the purpose and work of this team. If you see these students out and about in our community at local events, please take the opportunity to visit with them to learn more about their efforts to put their learning into practice and in the process build citizenship and professional skills!

🎗️ Run for a Cause! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Childhood cancer impacts not only children, but entire families—creating emotional, financial, and practical challenges throughout treatment. Lions are committed to helping improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families.

Our club is proud to participate in the PHS Mini-Thon 5K coming up on Labor Day to raise funds for pediatric cancer support, and we invite our community to join us! Meet up with our Lions Club at this event. Details below!

💛 Register for this 5K and help make a difference. Every step, every participant, and every dollar helps support children and families facing childhood cancer.

👉 Come run, walk, and rally together for a great cause!

This evening, our Palmyra Area Lions Club members and community partners served with a team of Special Olympics leaders to provide dinner to athletes competing in the State Softball Special Olympics Championship at the In the Net venue. It was a rewarding experience volunteering to serve such amazing athletes!
