Hey everyone,

I hope y'all are comfy thinking up of all the projects that you can make when quarantine is over. If you can't think of anything, here is something that everyone (with a 3D printer) can do in the comfort of their home. The rapid spread of the coronavirus led many hospitals with shortages of supplies, so we need YOU to help them out by creating face shields for your local hospitals and test centers. Check out our website below to get the .stl files and remember to send us pictures of them!

Happy making!
The MakeX Team

This full-face mask design is relatively quick and easy to print. All you have to do is download the STLs for the headband and bottom reinforcment, print the parts, and fill out the appropriate form below to coordinate us picking up your parts!

Hey makers! Kaiser Health is currently short on protective face masks. If any of you have a 3d printer that can print PET/PLA (PET strongly preferred) or have filament you can donate, fill out this form by Maker Nexus, a fellow makerspace, to help out:

Please complete this form if you have 3D printer capacity in the SF Bay Area and can use your machines, or allow Maker Nexus to use your machines, to produce face shields for use in medical facilities. You can see the design here: makernexuswiki.com/index.php?title=3D_printed_face_shields
