Due to anticipated rain, the Fall Carnival has been moved to Saturday, October 30. More information is on the school website.

Saturday's movie night has been postponed. Kona Ice will also be here tomorrow, Friday after school, for students to purchase sno-cones.

After meeting with the Health Department yesterday and hearing about the increase in COVID rates within the county we are changing the format of this year's Back to School night. We are cancelling the in-person event scheduled for Thursday, September 2. Your child's teacher will be scheduling an online orientation meeting for parents during one evening next week and will let their parents know when this has been scheduled.

Many of the county schools are struggling to remain open due to staff and student illnesses. NCC has had minimal problems to date and we believe this has been a result of the diligence our parents have shown in keeping their children home if they have any type of symptoms.

Thank you for your understanding and help as we navigate through this year.
