Palo Fire Department is looking for people who are willing to give their time, learn new skills, and help their community. Being a volunteer firefighter isn’t the only way to get involved! If fighting fires isn’t your thing, we also have EMT-only positions available. We need people with a desire to help others and be there when our community needs us most. 🏍️ Motorcycle Ride Coming Through Palo Today!

Around 11:00–11:15 this morning, roughly 200 motorcycles will be coming through Palo.

Palo Fire Department will be providing traffic control at the 4-way stop by City Hall and the 4-way stop by Casey’s. The ride will continue toward Center Point after going through town.

Please be patient while we let all the motorcycles come through together. There may be some delays as we get everyone through safely.

A huge thank you to Miles for writing another winning grant for our department! The time, effort, and dedication you put into grant writing does not go unrecognized, and we truly appreciate everything you do to help our department continue to improve.

Today, Assistant Chief Seely had the opportunity to meet with the St. Luke’s Board of Directors and talk about what this grant means for Palo Fire and how it will help us fund some much-needed medical equipment.

We are proud to be 1 of only 7 departments selected this year to receive the 50/50 Rural Health Care Grant! 🙌

A huge thank you to St. Luke’s for investing in our department and helping us continue to provide the best possible service to our community.

🚒 What a blast Palo Fun Days was! 🎉

We hope everyone is enjoying their new Palo Fire cups and koozies we handed out during the parade! We loved seeing so many familiar faces and getting to be part of such a great community event.

Kids Waterball was another huge success! 💦 Seeing the kids running around, getting soaked, and having a great time is what it’s all about! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and made Palo Fun Days such a great weekend. We had a blast and can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🚒💦🎉

Bring the kids down to Memorial Park for Kids Waterball starting at 12 PM! It’s going to be a great afternoon, and West Linn has a whole day of fun planned for everyone! 🎉

Congratulations to Josh Despard on 5 years of service with the Palo Fire Department. In 5 years Josh has taken on getting his Fire I, Fire II, and Fire instructor certifications. He has put in countless hours of fire training and fire calls. All of which were done while earning the rank of Captain and becoming our training officer.
