Green, calming vibes with a hint of snowfall ❄️ Roses blooming in the rain, misty pines all around… and the hummingbird feeder is out and ready — we’re waiting for our little friends to return! 🌹🌿 We’re rooting for you, April snows!!! Not much expected this season, but soaking in every peaceful moment Palomar Mountain has to offer. 🏔️✨

Sunday’s snow patrol:
Most of the snow is gone, with the exception of areas and patches under a lot of trees which are kept very shaded.
1) County park on Crestline
2) Group campground by Fire department and the area actors the street from the Store
3) State park (some areas)
4) my house (Lili and Mia’s house. 😇🐶🐶🙃)
So, just enough snow remains for a few short runs for the little kids.
No chains needed.

Saturday snow fun 🛷.
About an inch of snow remains around the summit. A little more at state park and the county park.
The snow will melt more and more in the sunny spots.
Yet, the areas under the tree shade will hold the snow for today, and perhaps thru Sunday. We shall see.
Beautiful and fun even with the remaining snow.
Roads are cleared and no chains needed. (State park might required them ?, not sure).
Enjoy and we wish a fun and happy Saturday. 2/21/26
