As school starts again, SRO Vinson wants to remind everyone to SLOW DOWN and be cautious of children walking to and from school, STAY ALERT and be patient with traffic and OF COURSE, have a fantastic school year!

Please let this be a reminder to slow down and stay alert in ๐ŸšธALL๐Ÿšธ school zones as children and pedestrians are present.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's National Night Out! We are incredibly grateful to our residents, local businesses, community partners, and neighboring agencies for helping make the evening such a success.

A special thank you to:
Linde Gas & Equipment for the dry ice donation, Andy's Frozen Custard for the delicious donation of custard,
Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage - Palos Heights for the donation of hamburgers and hotdogs, and
School District 218 who donated pizzas for our officers who were here early setting up for the big night!

Update 7/30: The light was repaired by ComEd and Meade.

We are aware of the traffic signals at Cal Sag Road and Ridgeland Avenue being completely out. Please approach the intersection with caution and ๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ ๐ข๐ญ ๐š๐ฌ ๐š ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ!

ComEd is aware of the outage and will attend to it as soon as possible.
Seek alternate routes when possible.
