The Palouse Library, which shares a building with City Hall, is conveniently located in downtown Palouse. A local resource not to be overlooked, it provides access to books, hotspots, laptops, newspapers, fiber internet, and much more to patrons of all ages. Founded by a group of determined women in the year 1920 and supported by the town ever since, the Palouse Library has always been a place of
knowledge and neighborliness. In 1947, however, the Palouse Library began contracting with the Whitman County Rural Library District - which is still the case today. The Palouse Library is open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 12:30 p.m.-6 p.m. Give us a call at 509-878-1513 or email [email protected]. A complete list of programs for children, teens, and adults can be found on our website, as well as our online catalog and free digital resources: www.whitcolib.org.
