Fleet & Family Support Center (FFSC) focuses on deployment support, crisis response, career support and counseling for individuals, families and commands, and provides these professional services through education classes and individual appointments. In summary, FFSC provides the appropriate services at the right time, strengthening personal and family competencies to meet the unique c

Congratulations to FFSC Panama City's new Clinical Director, Mike Westerfield!

Mike has been a vital part of our team, serving as our Clinical Counselor for 1.5 years and leading the charge as the acting director for the past 10 months. His dedication to the well-being of our Sailors and their families has been evident in everything he does, and we are thrilled to have him him officially stepping into this leadership role.

Under Mike’s direction, the Fleet and Family Support Center remains your one-stop resource for strengthening personal and family readiness. Whether you’re new to the area or preparing for your next chapter, our programs are here to support you at no cost. Some of our programs include:

Clinical Counseling: Short-term, solution-focused support for individuals, couples, and families.

Financial Management: One-on-one coaching for budgeting, debt reduction, and retirement planning to ensure long-term financial stability.

Life Skills Education: Workshops on stress management, parenting, communication, and anger management.

Emergency Readiness: Resources and planning to ensure your family is prepared for natural disasters or unexpected crises.

Ombudsman Support: Serving as the vital communication link between the command and Navy families.

Transition Assistance (TAP): Navigating the move to civilian life.

Relocation Assistance: Smooth sailing through your next PCS.

Family Employment (FERP): Helping spouses find their next career move.

Sexual Assault Prevention & Response (SAPR): 24/7 advocacy and victim support.

Deployment Support: Keeping families resilient before, during, and after a cruise.

Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP): Advocacy for families with special needs.
