The Rig - A Hamventure This is for ALL types of 2-way communications, pleasure, and emergencies. The radios in The Rig actively monitor UHF/VHF and GMRS.

We hope to provide much needed comms support during disasters, events, search&rescue, and where else called upon. Do you have a large event planned and would like a 'command post'? Please let me know for there is NO CHARGE for me to be there for you ! I have handheld radios for the staff, if needed.

The Panama City Amateur Radio Club and the Bay County ARES Team invite you to visit or participate in the ARRL's premiere operating event this coming weekend -- Field Day.
During this 24-hour event, we will be operating two transceivers at the Bay County EOC. You are welcome to come operate the existing stations or bring your own equipment. Voice, digital, or CW modes are welcome.
Call-in station is the Club's 2-meter repeater: 145.210 MHz, 100 Hz tone.

I finally got around to addressing the water stain damage to the table. I got a roll of peel n stick "wood like pattern"...

I finally got around to addressing the water stain damage to the table. I got a roll of peel n stick "wood like pattern" and it went on very easy. I was able to trim it with no issues and also painted the metal hand bar a flat black (3 coats) and covered it with 3 coats of clear coat. It's always something. Now for a much needed good wash to get it ready for Saturday. Thanks All !
