Congratulations to our Golden Hammer Award recipient of the week: Ms. Carly Reynolds (Guidance Para)! Ms. Reynolds was nominated by Ms. Siler who shared this: I nominate Carly Reynolds, a paraprofessional who supports our school counselors and brings positivity and pep to everything she does here at Tyndall! From coordinating vision and hearing screenings to getting important documents home to families, she handles her daily responsibilities with care and a cheerful spirit. Her willingness to jump in wherever needed stands out. She covers extra lunch duty, volunteers as a Check-In/Check-Out mentor, gets monthly awards out to teachers, and helps students through accidents and clothing changes with kindness and dignity. She makes students feel cared for and colleagues feel supported. Carly is a reason that Tyndall Academy is ! 💛
Way to go Ms. Reynolds!!! ❤🔨

Congratulations to our Quarter 2 Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award Recipient: Ms. Haylie Summers! Ms. Summers was nominated by Ms. Shannon Williams who shared this: I nominate Haylie Summers for the Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award. Ms. Summers goes above and beyond to make the staff and students at Tyndall Academy have a great experience. She teaches multiple subjects, and is truly a master of her craft. Her passion for the performing arts shines onto her students. Ms. Summers collaborates with her peers to make events and clubs come alive and flourish. She readily volunteers for extra assignments such as PTO and other leadership roles. Ms. Summers' daily interactions with every person on our campus exude kindness, respect, and generosity. I personally felt welcomed by her my first few days that I arrived as a Tyndall Thunderbird, and I have enjoyed working with her ever since then. More importantly, our students love and respect Ms. Summers; and that is a true testament to her character.
We are so proud of you Ms. Summers!!! 🍎
