MakerFest is a large career exploration and workforce development event that connects high school freshmen and sophomores with local regional employers.

Launched in 2015, the event helps students explore careers, internships, co-ops, job shadowing, and networking through interactive 15-minute employer demonstrations rather than traditional lectures.
