*SCAM ALERT**

A citizen in the community received a call from a Sgt. Collins who advised them that they were with the Cleburne County Sheriffs Office and then the FBI. They requested the citizen to pay money over the phone or go to jail.

But, the citizen was in the presence of Chief Bonner and another Pangburn Officer and his story changed pretty quickly. Any law enforcement officer or department will never attempt to request money over the phone. Be aware of these types of phone calls!
