🚨 September is Sepsis Awareness Month

Sepsis is a SEVERE life-threatening medical emergency that happens when your body has an extreme, toxic response to an infection. T.I.M.E. matters. Recognizing the warning signs early and seeking treatment quickly can save a life.

Take a moment to review the signs and remember: when in doubt, get checked out.

⚠️ SEVERE WEATHER UPDATE ⚠️

Our area has been upgraded to a Level 3 of 5 – Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.

While the tornado risk remains very low, damaging straight-line winds are the primary concern. Storms may produce 60–80 mph winds, with gusts potentially reaching 85+ mph. Winds of this strength can cause significant damage, including downed trees and power lines, even without a tornado.

Please stay weather aware, have multiple ways to receive warnings, and continue monitoring local weather conditions as storms develop.

If a warning is issued for your location, do not wait, move to a safe place and be prepared to shelter if needed.

Texas A&M Forest Service has raised the Wildland Fire Preparedness Level to Level 3.

Recent and forecast wildfire activity, ongoing resource commitments, and the potential for lightning ignitions across the High Plains today and tomorrow are contributing to elevated fire risk. Strong outflow winds associated with thunderstorms may also result in periods of increased fire behavior and resistance to control on existing wildfires.

We continue to monitor the situation and stand ready to respond to any requests for assistance.

🚗💙 Every Ride. Every Time. Buckle Them Up.

Teddy Trooper knows that the safest place for your little one is in the right car seat, properly installed and buckled every trip.

Texas law requires:
🧸 Children younger than 8 years old, unless they are 4 feet 9 inches or taller, must be secured in a child safety seat or booster seat appropriate for their age and size.
✔️ Once they’ve outgrown a booster seat, they should always wear a seat belt properly.

Protect your most precious passengers—because every trip matters. 💙🤠
