Good afternoon! Tomorrow after the Panorama Days parade, we'll have the ambulance parked out front to go through. We will also be having a free will donation lemonade bar. Blue raspberry, watermelon, and strawberry flavors. We just ordered 2 new Zoll Zenix cardiac monitors to replace our 12 year old Zoll monitors. They came in at $55,000 a piece, we have secured grant money for some of the expense, and would appreciate any community support for the remainder of the cost! Come ask questions, see our equipment, and talk with staff members!

Good morning! We are fully staffed today for first aid at the station. Fun time at the breakfast stop in Panora this morning! We will be keeping all ambulances staffed until RAGBRAI has completed in our service area. We'll be in Yale as the riders move along. Again, Guthrie County First Responders are out providing aid as well. Have a safe and fun day!

Good afternoon, riders are flooding Guthrie Center! We have 3 ALS ambulances, and 1 ALS med cart in Guthrie Center. Guthrie County First Responders are out on UTVs to get to patients sooner than getting an ambulance through the crowds. Big thank you to Adair Fire and Rescue for bringing up 1-22 to make a 4th transporting ambulance in Guthrie Center today!

We were so busy tonight at our meeting we didn't get any pictures! Thank you members for coming tonight! For training we went over our RAGBRAI plan. Afterwards we had a work night and got the truck bay and interiors of the trucks deep cleaned. Panora is the breakfast stop and we will have first aid set up in our truck bay. We will finish getting everything tidy over the next few days. Many hands make light work! We will have guests in our house next Monday, while we are fully staffed and taking care of RAGBRAI in Guthrie Center, Stuart Rescue will be here covering our 911s for the Eastern part of the county. We will be taking care of 911 and RAGBRAI in the Western part of the county. Thank you everyone!

Good morning! Last evening members of Panora EMS and Guthrie County First responders took part in SIMIA training. This state of the art simulator has all equipment in ambulances, and high fidelity dummies that you can perform all treatments on, just like a real human. Thank you Guthrie Center Volunteer Fire Department for hosting!

FYI if you are traveling between Panora and Stuart on Wagon RD

🚨Road crews are scheduled to begin the P28/Wagon Road rehabilitation work between Stuart and Monteith Road on Monday, June 22 .

🚫 This stretch of highway will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project.
🚗 Property owners will still be able to access their driveways and laneways. Please be cautious in all active construction work and plan for extra time.
🏕 Nations Bridge Park & Campground is OPEN. Please enter from the north on P28/Wagon Road until further notice.

The Guthrie County EMS Advisory Council wants to hear from you!

The EMS Advisory Council has developed a survey to gather input from Guthrie County residents about their understanding of how EMS services are delivered and funded throughout the county. The survey also requests feedback on residents’ priorities for EMS services and the funding options they would support to help reach those priorities.

The survey is open now until July 3 and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
