When we posted last week about our Halloween date, we did not remember a date had already been thrown out months ago. We apologize for that.

There have been several posts and messages about the date and how it would affect reservations & plans that have been in the works for months. Cases were made for both the 24th and the 31st.

Unfortunately, a decision has to be made and not everyone can get what they want.

Or can they...

We have decided to go back-to-back weekends with Halloween Festivities on both the 24th and the 31st so no one misses out.

Trunk-o-Treating, the Campsite Decorating Contest, and the kids Jack-o-Lantern Contest will happen both weekends so no one will miss out regardless of which weekend you choose.

We'll post more details about the specifics of the events as dates get closer.

Again, we apologize for the chaos and worry we may have caused.
