Visit the link attached to view a PSA for the positive West Nile Mosquito that was found in Orange County near Paoli. There was 1 positive pool (a collection of up to 100 mosquitos is in a pool) collected between 8-8-26 and 8-14-26 by the Indiana Department of Health. Precautions should be taken to prevent human infection. Please share.

We are excited to welcome School Smiles to Paoli this year!
The School Smiles dental program provides on-site dental care at our school for ALL students who sign up to participate. The program accepts Medicaid and private insurance, and offers self-pay rates and grants through its foundation. Registration is now open online at the link below.

Purdue Extension Orange County will offer a ServSafe Food Manager Certification training and examination on Friday, August 14, 2026.

The one-day course provides food safety education for food service managers, employees, and business owners and fulfills Indiana requirements for Certified Food Protection Managers. Topics include foodborne illness prevention, personal hygiene, food storage, food preparation, sanitation, and pest management.

Participants who successfully complete the exam with a score of 70 percent or higher will receive a certification valid for five years.
