At Papillion La Vista Community Schools (PLC Schools), a strong team of staff, parents and community members are committed to being known for greatness. Located just south of Omaha, Papillion La Vista Community School residents benefit from a small town atmosphere while still having all of the conveniences of a metropolitan area. Serving over 11,000 students, Papillion La Vista is the
fourth largest district in Nebraska. The District covers approximately 30 square miles of both urban and rural areas and is comprised of 14 elementary schools, two junior high schools, two high schools and one alternative program. All of our elementary and secondary schools are fully accredited through the Department of Education and the North Central Association. In 2010, the District received accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission. This is a prestigious honor held by only select districts throughout the country. Papillion La Vista Community Schools prides itself on meeting the individual needs of all students through a wide range of opportunities provided through an extensive co-curricular and extracurricular program. Excellence in the District can be best displayed through a strong partnership with parents and community. While PLC Schools offers neighborhood schools, it prides itself on district-wide curriculum and high academic standards for all students

Let’s keep the conversation related to our District. Comments of all kinds are welcome so long as they directly relate to our District. Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Followers should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page. Be aware of the mission. The mission of Papillion La Vista Community Schools is education. Please be certain that your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages. Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. False information will be removed and factual information will be posted. All comments and communication must come from a verifiable account.
