The Separate Juvenile Court of Sarpy County is currently dealing with 241 cases of child abuse and neglect. Each one is important to us. You can help.

Sarpy County CASA recruits, trains, and supports Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers who provide a voice for abused and neglected children in the foster care system, ensuring their best interests are represented in court and their needs are met. These are local families who are going through some very tough times, struggling with addictions, domestic violence and mental illness, and childr

en who are suffering at the hands of the very people they should be able to trust the most, their parents. CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates – screened, trained volunteers from the community who are appointed by a Juvenile Court Judge to advocate on a one-to-one basis for a child who has been a victim of abuse or neglect. CASA Volunteers are ordinary people who do extraordinary work, spending time with children, talking to parents, monitoring services and advocating for the right of every child to a safe and permanent home, . To continue the work, the Sarpy County CASA Program needs dedicated volunteers and generous donors! Please consider helping us, so that we can advocate for every abused and neglected child in Sarpy County. Each one needs a voice in court. All of them are precious.

There’s nothing better than seeing the smiles on our kiddos' faces as they pick out a brand-new pair of shoes for the school year. 💙👟

This weekend, we had a wonderful time at our annual Kicks for Kids event! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, children served by Sarpy County CASA had the opportunity to pick out a new pair of back-to-school shoes.

We are so grateful to our donors for making this special event possible, and to Famous Footwear for partnering with us and helping create such a fun experience for the kids. We also want to thank our CASA volunteers, foster parents, and caregivers for bringing the children and helping make the day so memorable.

Seeing the excitement as each child found the perfect pair of shoes was truly the best part of the day. Thank you to everyone who continues to support our mission and help make moments like this possible for the children we serve.

🇺🇸 Land of the Free, Because of the Brave 🇺🇸

In observance of Independence Day, the Sarpy County CASA office will be closed on Friday, July 3rd.

As we celebrate our nation's independence, we honor the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve our country. We hope you enjoy a safe and meaningful holiday with your loved ones.

Our office will reopen during regular business hours on Monday, July 6th.
