GVMS & GVHS Families,

SAVE THE DATE!

If your student plans to play in any sport next school year, they will be required to have a sports physical. Grand River Health will be providing FREE sports physicals. Battlement Mesa will have them on July 13th and July 14th from 4-6pm. Rifle will have them on July 15th and July 16th from 4-6pm. Please check the flyer for more information.

Important: A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign the required CHSAA paperwork, including the medical history form. No student may participate in sports without this completed documentation. The CHSAA forms can be found at grandriverhealth.org under Free Student Sports Readiness Exams.

GVHS students traveling with Mrs. Lister had a blast in Costa Rica! They ziplined, hiked, toured sustainable farms, snorkeled, whitewater rafted, took cooking classes, learned how to make chocolate, and more! They saw sloths, Howler monkeys, iguanas, caymans, and so many birds! Students discovered the importance of conservation while discovering the beauty Costa Rica and Pura Vida has to offer. They had the adventure of a lifetime!

Thank you to all that supported the Annual GVHS Athletic Golf Tournament. The money raised will go to our Athletic department. It was a cold but fun day.

Our Art students unleashed their inner Picassos and transformed the GVHS hallway into a masterpiece! Kudos, guys! 🎨

We just got back from the Colorado State FFA Convention and let me tell you, it was a real 'catch'! 🎣 Our students had a fin-tastic time participating in leadership workshops, making friends with FFA members from all over the state, and getting inspired to take their chapter to the next level! 🚀 One of the highlights was definitely visiting the Pueblo Fish Hatchery - who knew fish could be so fascinating? 🐟 They learned all about fish production, conservation, and how hatcheries keep Colorado's fisheries swimming smoothly. Our members returned home feeling energized, motivated, and ready to make some waves in our chapter! We're super proud of how they represented our school and can't wait to see what they do next! 🎉 A huge shoutout to our amazing sponsors, Columbine Ford and Chris and Morgan Young at Chesnick Realty, for making this trip possible! 🙏

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

As you step into your next chapter, remember the lessons you learned, the people who supported you, and the memories that will stay with you for years to come. We are proud of your determination, resilience, and the bright future ahead of each of you.

La graduación es más que una ceremonia — es la celebración de años de esfuerzo, crecimiento, amistades, desafíos y recuerdos inolvidables. Hoy reconocemos a nuestros estudiantes de último año por todo lo que han logrado y por el impacto que han dejado en nuestras escuelas y comunidad.

Spanish II students just went from tortilla newbies to pros in one class! 🎉 They mastered the art of following directions in Spanish while learning that cooking is a recipe for fun, culture, and a dash of drama 😂

Mrs. Muñoz's squad of linguistic legends descended upon CFL, regaling the mini-mes with their own Spanish literary masterworks! 📚👏 For the third year running, we're thrilled to see our students spreading the love for Spanish (and their own brand of awesomeness) to the next gen! Thanks, CFL, for letting us bring the fiesta to your doorstep... again! 🎉
