A note from the Paradise Hill Fire Chief, Alex Potts:
We had a small grass fire on Paradise Ranchos this morning 6/18/26. I'd like to thank the Good Samaritans who put it out before the Fire Department got there. I'd also like to thank the adjacent home owner for having their grass cut short.

Wondering what the day will look like:
See you in Paradise on Sunday 6/21 from 1pm-4pm

Join us for our 75th Anniversary of the Father’s Day BBQ inside the Firemen’s park.

❗️ A few things to know-

• CASH- 💵bring cash with you. If you forget there is an atm at the Sinclair gas station or the Paradise Valley Bar
• MEAL TICKETS- 🎟️ purchase child and adult tickets at the ticket booth next to the bar. KEEP your tickets. Every adult ticket is numbered and automatically entered to win a door prize! Listen to the announcer for your winning ticket number throughout the day.
• BAR- yes a bar! 🍺Look for the white banner. Enjoy cold draft and canned beers! For nonalcoholic drinks such as soda, tea, lemonade…. and ICE CREAM, visit the local 4H fundraiser booth!
• SILENT AUCTION- 🤞🏻we have amazing prizes up for auction. Silent auction tables are right on the west side of the park. Bidding will close immediately after the nail pounding competition.
• RAFFLE- Purchase raffle tickets for an amazing 🔫 at the silent auction tables. $5 for 1. Or 5 for $20.
• FOOT RACES- 🏃‍♂️Starting line begins at the center of the park in front of the old fire truck. All ages 0-100! Includes, dash, sack and 3 legged!
• NAIL POUNDING 🔨 for the women. Immediately after the foot races head north to the flatbed trailer. Finalists from each heat will hammer for the winning title.
• HORSESHOE PITCHING 🧲 SIGN UP sheet will be by the bathroom. Starting at 2pm. Single elimination.
• FOOD- 🔥Full spread of beef, beans, bread, salad, watermelon, and barbecue sauce is served buffet style. Any leftovers will be sold afterwards.
• AWARDS- prizes awarded to the oldest dad, dad from the farthest away, dad with the most children and the oldest mother! 💝

On the day of please find donor sheets being recognized on the side of the jail house building.
