This map was provided to the department around 6pm 8/26 from the BLM.
The fire has reached wilderness land. Time and weather conditions will determine the future. At this time we don’t have much of an update for the public besides resources are ready.

The district had all resources ready. A great turn out by our volunteers at both houses.
Four lightning fires (that we responded to-possible more were started but put out by rain).

1st page- Porcupine Fire area of Paradise Summit range.
2nd page- Abel Creek
3rd page- Between Singas Creek/Lamance- Dump area.
4th page- Shelton Lane- Hot Springs area.

On Friday 8/21/26 at approx 3:38pm the department was dispatched to the area of Shelton Lane/Wash O’Neill Rd and HWY 290 for a brush fire along the road. Cause is unknown.
Fire was extinguished and turned over to USWFS.
