The Chico Enterprise Record Review spent a day out near Paradise Lake last week, following one of our fuels reduction projects across the Magalia landscape.
Over about 130 acres, our contracted crews used an excavator and chainsaws to cut and pile thick surface and ladder fuels, prepping the stand for future prescribed fire. The project is a partnership with the Plumas National Forest, one of many that make landscape-scale treatment possible across private, federal, and local ownership.
Thanks to the Enterprise-Record for the coverage!
