Project Notice: Doe Mill Ridge Fuels Reduction
As part of the Butte County Fire Safe Council's ongoing fuels reduction work in the Doe Mill Ridge community, additional treatment is scheduled in the project area over the coming weeks under the WUI Wide Forest and Watershed Restoration Project.
Starting Tuesday, June 16, a contractor will begin moving equipment into the area, with work expected to continue for about 2-3 weeks. This phase includes mechanical cutting, chipping, and hauling of logs from the site. As always, the work will be done in an environmentally sensitive way to support the long-term health and resilience of the land.
Doe Mill Ridge residents: please be aware of large trucks operating on local roads throughout this work. See the map below for the project area.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work together to make our community more resilient to wildfire.
