GCT is excited to announce that Benton Farmer will be honored at the Arkansas Association of Instructional Media (AAAIM) conference in June. His photography was entered in the Student Media Festival sponsored by AAIM.

Benton’s pictures were entered in two different categories, and he competed against students from across the state. He placed first in the Black and White Edited category and second in the Color Edited category.

Congratulations on this impressive accomplishment.

Reminder: Per State Law, Cell Phones and other personal electronic devices must be turned off and stored in a backpack, in the office, a locker, or vehicle. If a phone makes noise, vibrates, or goes off while in a backpack, it will be confiscated. Per policy, any phone that is visible in a pocket, jacket, or elsewhere outside of a backpack/vehicle will be confiscated!
Students, You have 48 hours to turn in your parent note, Dr. note. etc. After 48 hours, the absence will be unexcused. It is your responsibility to check to make sure your Dr. office faxed us your note. You can check your attendance in HAC.
Any boy interested in running cross country next year can sign up in the office. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, May 14th.
The only passes that will be accepted at the Baseball & Softball State Tournament games this week are AAA. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased on Go Fan or at the gate with a credit or debit card.
If today is your last day of school and you have medication in the nurses’ office, please make arrangements to pick it up by the end of the day.

Congratulations to the 2027 Senior Class Officers: President: Tucker Colvin; Vice President: Karley Yeager; Secretary: Bree Runyon. There was not a clear winner for Reporter. We will have a runoff election today. Vote on the form posted on the Class of 2027 Google Classroom. Voting ends at 1 PM today. The winner will be announced during enrichment.
