‼️‼️IMPORTANT UPDATES FOR SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OVERNIGHT WARMING SHELTERS‼️‼️

SATURDAY- 7th & Mueller Church of Christ (1000 S 7th St) check in will be from 7pm-9pm (this will be the ONLY overnight warming station for 12/13)

SUNDAY- Greater Vision Church (529 E Court St) check in will be from 7pm-9pm (this will be the ONLY overnight warming station for 12/14)

The City of Paragould, in partnership with local government, community leaders, non-profits, and churches, is launching Paragould CREW, a coordinated effort to provide shelter and support during extreme cold weather.

Overnight shelters will activate when the "feels like" temperature is ≤15°F, offering meals, bedding and comfort supplies.

Overnight shelters (7pm-7am) will be located at Greater Vision Church (529 E. Court St) and 7th & Mueller Church of Christ (1000 S 7th St).

Daytime warming centers are available at the Paragould Community Center (3404 Linwood Drive) and Labor Park Gym (309 S 6th Avenue).

Citizens can contact local churches or non-profits to volunteer or contribute meals/snacks.r tr ed

Volunteer fire departments are essential partners in Arkansas’ wildfire response. Their local knowledge and quick action are critical to protecting our communities, property, and natural resources.

To support their efforts, the Arkansas Department of Agriculture is offering 75 wildland fire suppression kits to rural volunteer fire departments. Each kit includes wildfire-resistant gear and essential tools like rakes, gloves, backpack water pumps, and more.

Applications are open through September 30, 2025.
