These five beautiful young women are my silent witnesses. I knew them personally. They were loved to death. They all left behind young children. Their lives were cut short by acts of violence by the men who claimed to love them. During the holidays, domestic violence increases. If a person hits you once, they will hit you again. If they say they will see you dead before they let you go, believe them. Make a plan. Move silent. Move fast. TELL SOMEONE AND LEAVE. If you have to leave with nothing but the clothes on your back, LEAVE with your clothes and your life. Love isn't supposed to hurt. Don't become a silent witness. If you know of someone who was loved to death, add their name in the comments. Please copy and share.

Our Focus

Our focus is to collaborate with existing community based organizations to establish educational scholarships to assist domestic violence victims with their educational endeavors. Evidence indicates that lack of education can be one of many barriers that prevents victims of domestic violence from transitioning out of their circumstances.

In an effort to break the cycle of abuse through learned behavior, we will establish a mentoring program specifically for young men who are at risk based on their exposure to domestic violence.

Finally, we will develop our transitional housing partnerships with organizations that provide short-term transitional housing, our goal will be to help organizations with their operational budget so program participants can stay in the program for extended periods of time while they rebuild their lives.
