Aikin Summer Library begins tomorrow 2:00-6:00!!! It’s all about fairy tales and fables this year, Tromp, Tromp over and have some fun!! (Disclaimer - we are working on Chromebook carts and the carpets haven’t been cleaned, so the room is a bit chaotic, but I promise your kids will enjoy this activity and checking out books!).

Paris ISD is proud to offer FREE summer meals for children throughout the summer! No registration is required, and all kids are welcome. Help us spread the word so no child goes hungry this summer. ❤️💙

📍 Meal sites, dates, and serving times are listed on the graphic below.
🍽️ Meals must be eaten on site, except for Lunch Bus meals, which will be grab-and-go.
👧🧒 Open to all children 18 years old and younger.

📅 Please note: No meals will be served on June 19 or July 3.

There’s something special about hearing a gym full of tiny voices going “ERRRRR!” like a car screeching to a stop while big kids cheer them on 🚗💨📚

Mrs. Wall’s Kindergarten class has been reviewing the sounds of er/ir/ur, and Mrs. Bell’s 4th grade homeroom class stepped in as reading buddies to help make learning extra fun! Kindergarten students raced to a word, slammed on their “brakes” with a loud “errrrr,” and worked to decode the word. If they got stuck, the 4th graders were right there to encourage and help them sound it out.

Watching the big kids patiently support the littles was such a heartwarming reminder that learning is even better together. ❤️ From decoding words to building confidence, these Wildcats showed teamwork at its best! 🐾

We are so thankful for the heart, dedication, and love our teachers and staff pour into students every single day. At Aikin, we strive to appreciate and celebrate our entire Aikin family all year long because they truly make a difference in the lives of children.

Shout out to Mrs. Meredith for all she does for our district!! She is the BEST!!!

Today, in celebration of School Communicators Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and honor our incredible District Public Information Officer, Mrs. Melanie Meredith.

Mrs. Meredith works behind the scenes every day to share the stories that matter most in our schools. From highlighting student achievements and staff celebrations to keeping our families and community informed, she ensures that the amazing things happening across our district never go unnoticed. Her dedication, creativity, and care help bring our schools to life through every message, post, and update.

We are truly grateful for Mrs. Meredith and the heart she puts into telling our story so well. Our schools are better because of her work, and we appreciate her more than words can say.
