Brittany consistently demonstrates what it means to be willing to step in, help wherever needed, and put the needs of our students and school first. As our preschool assistant, Brittany has been instrumental in helping Roy set up his preschool classroom and has also jumped in to help Virtie get her new preschool classroom ready after it was recently added. She has willingly shared her time, energy, and talents to help ensure that our entire preschool program is ready to welcome students. Brittany is also someone who is always willing to jump in wherever help is needed. She is flexible, supportive, and never seems to hesitate when there is a job that needs to be done. She has demonstrated that she is not territorial with her time or talents and is willing to support her coworkers to help make our school the best it can be for our students. Even with all of the changes and preparation happening within our preschool program, Brittany has approached everything with a positive attitude and a willingness to help. She truly embodies the spirit of being “all in” by supporting her coworkers, sharing her talents, and doing whatever she can to help meet the needs of our students and school.
Roy has demonstrated what it truly means to be “all in” for our students and school before Preschool has even started. Since joining our staff, he has consistently stepped in wherever help is needed. He regularly assists during breakfast and lunch. He also makes a point of visiting his future preschool students at the Grey-Y each day, building relationships with them and helping them become familiar with him before the school year even begins. He has shown flexibility, a willingness to share his time and talents, and a genuine commitment to doing whatever he can to support our students and staff. Although he is new to our school and preschool has not even begun, he has already made a positive impact on our school community. He is truly “all in”, and I believe he is very deserving of this recognition.
