The Monroe County Health Department offers immunizations, lead screenings, pregnancy testing, STD/HIV testing, newborn home visits, school health nursing and flu vaccinations. Vital records can be printed at the Health Department for a fee. Birth and death certificates are available to those who were born or deceased in Missouri. Child Passenger Safety Technicians are on staff to educate parents and caregivers on how to safely restrain children of all ages riding in motor vehicles. New car seats are available at a reduced rate by appointment.
