Carlisle Fire Department will be hosting the Kentucky Fire Commission Survival and Rescue classes on the following dates:

June 2, 2026, at 1800 hours, Survival
June 16, 2026, at 1800 hours, Rescue

The skills session will be conducted on:

June 20, 2026, beginning at 0830 hours

All sessions will take place at: Nicholas County Livestock Pavilion 1471 Concrete Road Carlisle Ky

Students in the District 15 Degree program are presently engaged in comprehensive vehicle extrication training at the District 15 office, made possible by Roberts Heavy Duty Towing's generous donation of vehicles for hands-on training purposes. We express sincere appreciation to Roberts Heavy Duty Towing for providing vehicles that facilitate exceptional learning experiences for our students and for supporting various fire departments in central Kentucky with their towing needs.

Day two of NFA weekend in Mt. Sterling. There have been lots of knowledge passed around this weekend, some fun times and maybe a few war stories told. Thank you to Montgomery County Fire Department, Montgomery County Local Firefighters Union for providing Saturdays lunch, all of the students that participated and all of the State Fire Rescue staff that took time to prepare and present this weekend.

This is the first day of District 15’s National Fire Academy week sponsored by Montgomery County Fire Department. With the assist of District 14 instructors we provided ICS 300, Fire investigation, Safety Officer, Strategy and Tactics certification classes to 58 firefighters from across the Commonwealth.
